06.01.2011 PolymerLatex is increasing prices for chloroprene latex

PolymerLatex is increasing prices for its range of chloroprene Latex, also known as CR Latex, worldwide effective 15th January 2011.

Prices will increase up to 200 €/ ton (wet) in Europe and 300 $/ton (wet) in all other world regions depending on the various applications. The price adaptation is necessary to recover rising raw material and energy cost.

CR Latex is marketed as Lipren® worldwide and used to manufacture protective gloves and medical devices but also used in many other specialty segments like construction chemicals and bitumen modification, textiles and sealants as well as in the shoe and furniture industry.
